Julian Rignall reviews a new C64 game, Zzap style!
Re: Julian Rignall reviews a new C64 game, Zzap style!
Great. Thanks for that. Great that he still has love for the C64 and Zzap!

Figured it would be C64anabalt before clicking the link... it really has taken off and gotten RGCD noticed. No wonder he "lamented" having to ship so many of the buggers!

All of them are out of stock in their online shop, apart from replacement boxes!
Re: Julian Rignall reviews a new C64 game, Zzap style!
If you ask nicely, you might be able to get some more. Essentially, he took C64anabalt off the store because it was almost proving TOO popular!

They've generally been costing just under 20 quid each with postage. Not cheap, but he's barely making anything on them either.

And in 20 years time Mr ZZAPBack will still be debating whether Julian should have given it a Gold Medal for a review score of 93%
Mine arrived yesterday, haven't had a chance to play it on the real hardware yet. But I do have the iOS version as well for comparison...

Julian is one of the people I've interviewed for a big Retro Gamer feature in issue 106...
Re: Julian Rignall reviews a new C64 game, Zzap style!
What the feature about and when is the issue due out?

Due out mid August. Now, I wonder why August is significant, in a thirty years since something happened kind of way?Iain wrote:What the feature about and when is the issue due out?
