Okay, not entirely related to Zzap but at the time I was the first challenger I was writing those annoying type in listings. Doing an idle serach on the net bought up these on You Tube.

I wrote Indogana Bones and also the first game on the compilation video - Bruce.
Then I found a database with my old stuff on:

All good fun if a bit daft.

I loved my grandmother very, very much and she fetched a good price on eBay.

So much of the programming I did then is a blur, but I do remember that the C64 had a nasty 'split screen' thing going on so that a sprite could wander most of the way to the right side of the screen then you had to 'flick' them over. I managed to write a quick switch routine in Basic that actually did not even flicker - and some of the 'professional' titles used to have very bad flicker.
Anyway the guy who uploaded it has now uploaded my Roy Fawkes in Raiders of the Houses of Parliament:

This was written for Home Computing Weekly as a Bonfire Night game but after getting commissioned for it they went out of business. So I changed the name and sold it to someone else.
He's now also uploaded the last part of Indogana Bones - not exactly FMV but silly:

The end of the first Indogana video shows the actual BASIC listing at the end.
The guy has a load of old C64 stuff on his You Tube page.

Lots there all right. His background graphic on his page is a bit 90's (i.e. it's hard to actually read the text over it).
Looks like he might not be uploading any more though:

To anyone who is reading this, I won't be posting any more movies because
A) No-one seems to watch them
B) It takes a lot of time up transferring them from video to computer and it doesn't always work
C) They keep getting blocked because of audio/video copyright reasons
If anyone knows how to get around this (because there are hundreds of music videos on youtube) then PLEASE give me some idea how I can upload anything. Thanks.
