I have also updated the where the money goes paragraph to the below:
I removed the buying beer reference because there's not enough margin any more for beerOf your £6.99, around 47p goes to Paypal, 77p goes to this website to help pay for hosting costs and the rest (£5.75) goes to Mort, which he spends on: buying magazine issues to scan from eBay, buying scanners (he's gone through 14+ so far!) and of course the dvd disk, case, inlay and postage (worldwide).
Re: DVD Price Crash at the Zzuperstore
As you may know, the post office in Britain is putting up their prices (quite substantially in some cases, especially international post) so unfortunately we have to increase the price of some of the DVDs.
There are actually quite a few double (and triple!) disks that are currently sold at single prices (micro user, amiga computing, computing with the amstrad and the One) so these will be going up £2 to £8.99 at the end of the month so get them at £6.99 while you can!
Everything else will be staying at the same price, at least until the Royal Mail buggers increase their prices again!

Have you ever considered digital downloads? Perhaps .iso's of some of the discs?

Hope your hangover wasn't too bad!
So Mort is working on CCI? I hope he gets it finished before there's a chance of babies on the scene, that'll be the end of it for a few years then!

Well the bandwidth usage would be a killer and the main point of the DVDs was for bandwidth and storage reasons.andy vaisey wrote:Have you ever considered digital downloads? Perhaps .iso's of some of the discs?

Fair enough; thought that may be the case, but never hurts to demand... er, I mean ask...Iain wrote:Well the bandwidth usage would be a killer and the main point of the DVDs was for bandwidth and storage reasons.andy vaisey wrote:Have you ever considered digital downloads?
